Artist’s Statement.

Colour and light play an enormous part in every painting Kate McCredie does, whether it be a traditional or digital piece. There is a compulsion and need that drives her to paint, and to share her love of Nature with others.

EDUCATION & EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

Kate qualified as a Graphic Reproductionist in 1983, and spent 15 years working in the Printing Trade. She earned a Diploma of Arts – Illustration at NMIT in 2003, and somehow finds time to Art while being a Full Time Carer for her mother and disabled son.
