I am a Melbourne-based artist who paints with a boldness that grabs life by both hands in celebration. The essence of my work is its signature explosion of unashamed colour and vibrancy and the themes of spirituality and human virtues are woven into the details of my work which I curate as collections. As an artist, I want to capture the joy of living because, as a workplace chaplain, I understand the human spirit and I paint so my work offers a healing power to revive the spirit. I studied painting and printmaking at Monash University, Australia and have returned to full-time painting in the last 2 years. I practise from my glorious studio where the Yarra Valley meets the city of Melbourne.
The State Forest collection is my humble response to the regeneration of the Australian bush in the Otway National Park after bush fires raged through my beloved coastal town of Wye River on Christmas Day 2015
