BIOGRAPHY OF RUKiYE GARiP

She was born in 1964 in Bartin city of Turkey. She completed her undergraduate degree in arts. After graduation she was interested in fashion design and worked as a stylist. And then worked on hand made decorations in her own ceramic workshop. In 1989 she began working as an art teacher in high school. After serving 20 years she was retired. Rukiye Garip has been working in her own studio for 5 years in Balikesir. She also teaches the students of various age groups in this workshop studio. She has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions with her paintings of various techniques. The artist works on all painting techniques but prefers watercolor most. Because she thinks that transparency and lights of watercolor reflects the beauties of nature better. She is more interested in watercolor technique last four years.
