Born in Launceston, Tasmania, I am a self-taught artist working primarily in oils. I enjoy painting local scenery, still life, and the figure. Of particular interest to me is the use of suggestive brushwork to convey a sense of light, form, colour and texture. I paint on location and in the studio. My work is held in collections around Australia and abroad.
