Bob Ngaka is an up and coming Tanzanian artist from Dar Es Salaam

With very little opportunity for education, his artistic qualities were supported by one of his primary school teachers who bought him painting books.

Bob also had the opportuity to learn from students who had graduated from Bagamoyo Art College. Although never a college students, again his talent was recognised and he learnt techniques of figure drawing, how to combine colours and textures. He has learnt to paint in both oils and acrylics.
